Staff Cuts at PLR

Welcome to the eighth edition of PLR e-News.

To meet the new running cost targets set for us by government , PLR have been obliged to reduce staffing levels. We will make every effort to ensure that our current high level of service does not suffer, however you may find that it takes us a little longer to answer queries and process applications, especially during busy periods.

The quickest and easiest way of registering books and checking your PLR account is via our online service. If you do not yet have an online account, and you would like to manage your PLR online you can apply for an online account.

Accounts are usually activated on the same working day that you submit your application. As soon as you receive an email confirming your online User ID, you can log into your account to view titles registered, add new titles, view your statement and much more.

That’s all for now – the next e-newsletter is due in December 2008.

If you do not wish to receive these e-mails, send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject heading to authorservices@plr.uk.com

If you are unable to view this newsletter properly, it is also available at www.plr.uk.com/allaboutplr/news/sep08 enews.htm

Did you know that the PLR Scheme is not restricted to authors? Illustrators, photographers, editors and translators may all register for PLR (providing they are named on the title page of a book).

Most people who are registered find out about us from fellow authors and friends. If you know anyone who may be eligible to register, please tell them to apply either online or via an application form.

Application forms are available to download on our website. Alternatively we can post a form on request.
