WHAT IS RSS?

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'.

RSS feeds are an easy and quick way for us to let you know when latest news, important dates, Scheme developments, reminders etc have been published.

PLR news feeds are compliant to RSS version 2.0.

In order to subscribe to this free service and view the PLR RSS feeds you will require a news reader.

WHAT IS A NEWS READER?

A news reader is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds you have subscribed to and lets you read any new articles that have been added.

There are many readers available. (Browser-based news readers allow you to access your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer.  Downloadable applications only allow you to access them from the computer you downloaded them to.)  Many are free of charge and more are appearing all the time.

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE TO PLR NEWS FEEDS?

Once you have chosen a news reader, you can either:

  • click on the orange icon rss image
  • drag the orange icon into your news reader
  • drag or paste the feed URL into your news reader (http://www.plr.uk.com/rssfeed/rss.xml).

HOW DO I VIEW MY PLR NEWS FEEDS?

Updated information from PLR will automatically be downloaded and can be viewed in your web browser and other programs, such as your email program.
