audit committee register of interests
|
The Audit Committee has no power to take decisions affecting the administration of the PLR Scheme. Its role is purely advisory. But to avoid any danger of Committee Members being influenced, or appearing to be influenced, in the advice that they provide to the Registrar, a Register of Interests has been established. Members are required annually to declare for inclusion in the Register any financial, business or other interests in the operation of the PLR Scheme that might lead to a conflict of interest. Should a Committee Member - or a member of his/her family - take on a direct business or pecuniary interest that is likely to have a bearing on the advice given by the Committee, then such interests will be communicated to the Registrar for inclusion in the Register. Currently no financial or business interests have been declared by Members for inclusion in the Register.
