I am a new applicant, how do I apply?

If you have not applied to register for PLR before (ie you do not have a PLR number), you may apply online by clicking on the ‘apply for an online account’ button at the top left hand side of the screen. Further instructions and help is available during the login process. Please ensure that you follow your application through each step until you see the confirmation screen which confirms that your application has been submitted to us successfully.

Please note that you will not be able to log into your online account until you have been advised that your account has been activated. In order to activate your account, it is necessary to complete a Certificate & Declaration form and to provide supporting documents.

After submitting your details you will receive an email from us to confirm that we have received your application.  The email includes a link to print a Certificate & Declaration form which you will need to post to us, together with your two supporting documents.

Once we have recorded receipt of the documents, you will be advised via email that your account has been activated and you will be allocated with a User ID.

I already have a PLR number but want to use the online service

If you are already registered for PLR, you may apply for a login to the online service by clicking on the ‘apply for an online account’ button at the top left hand side of the screen. You will need to have your PLR number to hand before you begin the process. Please ensure that you follow your application through each step until you see the confirmation screen which confirms that your application has been submitted to us successfully.

Once your account has been activated, (usually the same day which your login application was submitted), you will receive an email from us confirming your User ID. You will be able to log into your account immediately with your User ID and password which you chose when you submitted your login application. Once logged in, you will be able to view titles registered, submit applications to register additional titles, view and amend your personal details, view your most recent statement (if applicable) and send secure messages.

I am a new applicant. I have not been advised my account is activated

If you have followed the login process to the end and submitted your application successfully, you would have received an email from us to confirm receipt of your submission. If you have not received this email:

If you have received the acknowledgement email, but you have not received the email advising you of your User ID, this may be because we are still waiting for additional information.

In order to activate your account, it is necessary to complete a Certificate & Declaration form and to provide supporting documents. If you are unable to print the form please contact the office to request a form to be posted to you. Once we have recorded receipt of the documents, you will be advised via email that your account has been activated and you will be allocated with a User ID.

I have submitted a login application but have not heard from you

If you have submitted a login application and you have not received an email from us within two working days, you should contact the office as we may not have received your application successfully.

Please note that AOL and btinternet email addresses have problems receiving our emails, even if we are added to your list of safe senders. If you have provided an email address from one of these providers, we would recommend that you provide us with an alternative if possible.
